Is GEO the same as SEO?

No. SEO optimizes search-engine ranking (blue links); GEO optimizes the probability of being retrieved and cited by generative AI engines. They overlap at the foundation (semantics, structured data), but GEO emphasizes extractability, factual trust and AI-crawler reachability. We do both and accept them separately.

Will this guarantee ChatGPT cites me?
