Why not just use WordPress?
WordPress suits frequently-updated content with non-technical self-editing, but it carries plugin bloat, attack surface, and needs extra tuning for performance and structured data. If you want a fast, stable, SEO/GEO-solid, privately deployable site, static generation (Astro/Next) is usually a better fit. We do both and choose in the proposal by your actual needs.
Can you do bilingual? We may add Japanese later.
Yes. The site is structured for multiple languages from the start, with hreflang auto-cross-referencing; adding a language later is appending content, not rebuilding. The cost of adding a language is spelled out in the proposal.
Can we put online payment/checkout on the site?
Technically yes, but commercial functions touch filing status and payment compliance and must be assessed against your entity’s qualifications. Informational sites are unaffected; for transaction features we define the compliance boundary in the proposal.
Can we edit content ourselves after delivery?
Yes. Delivery includes a maintenance manual and editing guide; your team can update regular copy, blog posts and page content. For structural changes we provide warranty support.
